canoeing in the shenandoah
Our annual September canoe outing to the Shenandoah River was awesome. For some reason we seem to get lucky with the weather each year.
A gang of nearly fifty scouts and scouters headed off to the water and had a blast. Our monthly project of building canoes with bamboo was a success, not a raging success, but they floated and no one ended up on the bottom of the river.
